People who enter the justice system often encounter a disjointed process, where their mental health or neurodiversity needs may not be fully recognised or assessed. Without a thorough understanding of these needs, individuals may receive sentences that do little to support their rehabilitation or long-term reintegration into society.
Our approach places the individual at the centre of care. We focus on creating supportive, constructive pathways for people facing criminal charges, while also exploring the personal triggers and social or economic factors that may contribute to offending behaviour.
This model is designed to accompany individuals throughout their journey within the justice system. We provide tailored assessments and support while they await trial, and we also maintain systems to assist those who have completed their sentence as they transition back into the community.
Joining our non-custodial healthcare team gives you the chance to have a meaningful impact on the lives of people who may have experienced significant challenges and turning points.
Your work will also contribute to a stronger and safer community by helping individuals access the right support early—often before circumstances escalate and bring them into contact with the justice system.
